Drive Test Online - Terms, Conditions & Refund Policy
1. Booking and Payment Process
Upon submitting your request and making payment, the following applies:
Base package price (includes ministry test fee and service charges; tax extra):
- G Road Test: $165 + HST ??Total $186.45
- G2 Road Test: $120 + HST $15.60 ??Total $135.60
- M Road Test: $165 + HST ??Total $186.45
- M2 Road Test: $120 + HST $15.60 ??Total $135.60
Ministry Fees (paid directly to DriveTest from the base package):
- G / M Road Test: $91.25
- G2 / M2 Road Test: $53.75
Service Fee:
The remaining base amount covers our booking company?? service fee, which includes finding and securing available test slots on your behalf. HST is charged on the base package total.
Once we receive your order, our team searches for the earliest available appointments that meet your requested criteria. If we successfully book your road test, you will receive a confirmation email with your appointment details. We are not responsible if you miss your appointment or fail to check your email.
If we are unable to find your requested slot, it simply means it was unavailable. Orders are processed in the order received ??if another customer placed a similar request earlier, priority is given accordingly.
2. Processing and Communication
- The search for a suitable slot begins immediately after placing your order.
- You will receive your booking details within 15 days.
- If additional information is needed (e.g., driver?? license number, expiry date, or abstract), we will contact you by email.
- Orders without a customer response after 12 months will be closed with no refund (but some conditions can be considered).
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1 General Policy
- No refunds are available once the test is successfully booked.
- A $20.00 cancellation fee applies if you cancel before a test is booked. This fee covers payment processing and administrative costs.
3.2 If Fees Have Been Paid to the Ministry
If we have already paid the DriveTest booking fee but the test is not booked, we will deduct the ministry?? fee plus $20.00 and issue a partial refund.
3.3 Refund Timelines
- Refunds are typically processed within 4??0 business days.
- Refunds can take up to 14 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
3.4 No Refund Situations
- Incorrect information provided (license details, expiry date, etc.)
- Failure to appear at the test or having an unfit vehicle
- Test cancellations due to weather or DriveTest center issues
- Once DriveTest confirms the booking and sends a confirmation email
4. Rebooking or Rescheduling
- If you wish to reschedule after a booking is made, a $58.00 rebooking service fee applies. Any due G or G2 fee is not included.

- Contact us at least 72 hours before the current test date if you wish to reschedule.
5. Administration Fee
All our services include a small administration fee, which covers:
- Searching for suitable dates
- Managing test appointments
- Providing guidance on test preparation and requirements
6. Payment Disputes
- If a customer opens a payment dispute, we must wait for the bank?? decision before issuing any refund.
- To retain your booked slot, you must send the DriveTest booking fee plus $58.00 via E-transfer within 7 business days.
- Failure to respond or pay within 7 days may result in cancellation of your appointment.
- If your payment is refunded by the bank, you remain responsible for reimbursing us the DriveTest fee we paid on your behalf.
- In the case of a dispute, we may provide order details, your driver?? license copy, and contact details to the bank as evidence.
Customer Dispute and Chargeback Fee:
If a customer initiates a dispute or chargeback without first contacting us or providing us with an opportunity to resolve the issue, and our company incurs a dispute, chargeback, investigation, or counter-dispute fee as a result, the customer may be responsible for an additional $30 administrative and dispute-handling fee by payment processing companies like Stripe, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
